Program Overview 2012

The urban Unit has successfully completed its fifth summer internship program, held between July to September 2011. The internship program is carefully designed each year to provide students an opportunity to gain experience with public sector organizations, provincial departments and the local governments. The interns were also engaged in various ongoing projects of the Urban Unit.

 A total of 324 interns were inducted from different universities from all over Pakistan for the internship this year. True to its belief that hands on training is the best teaching tool, : this summer internship exposed the future professionals with skills that were an introduction to careers within the public sector and to prepare them for the future.
